This year, The Meat Dudes are heading to CattleCon in Nashville, and we couldn’t be more fired up. CattleCon is the largest cattle convention in the United States, bringing together thousands of ranchers, producers, industry leaders, and ag professionals from across the country, so it very important that there is Wagyu at CattleCon. It’s where real conversations happen about genetics, land stewardship, sustainability, markets, and the future of American beef.
And this year, Wagyu beef is very much part of that conversation.
Wagyu Row: Where Beef Meets the Plate
Inside CattleCon, we’ll be cooking American Wagyu steaks on Wagyu Row, alongside the American Wagyu Association. This isn’t a sales pitch. This is about education, transparency, and showing how Wagyu fits into the broader American beef industry.
Wagyu Row gives producers, ranchers, and attendees a chance to see, taste, and understand Wagyu beef in real time—not through hype or labels, but through flavor, marbling, and cooking technique.
For many people at CattleCon, Wagyu isn’t something they cook or eat every day. That’s exactly why this matters.
Representing Wagyu the Right Way
At The Meat Dudes, we spend our time talking to ranchers—across the U.S. and around the world—about what actually makes great beef. Being invited to cook at CattleCon is a big deal, because it means bringing Wagyu into the heart of the cattle industry, not keeping it on the sidelines.
Our goal isn’t to compare, compete, or talk down about any other beef. It’s to show that Wagyu is part of the same ecosystem—built on genetics, animal care, land management, and long-term thinking.
Wagyu belongs at CattleCon. Period.
The Ranchers Donating Wagyu Steaks
We’re incredibly grateful to the Wagyu producers who are donating steaks for this event. These ranches represent the diversity, care, and craftsmanship behind American Wagyu:
Every steak on Wagyu Row has a story behind it—genetics decisions, feeding programs, land stewardship, and years of work that most consumers never see. Cooking these steaks is our way of honoring that work and putting it front and center.
Why This Matters
CattleCon isn’t about trends—it’s about the future of beef. And Wagyu has a real role to play in that future. From genetics and marbling to consumer education and market opportunity, Wagyu continues to grow because people want better beef and more transparency.
By cooking Wagyu at CattleCon, we’re helping bridge the gap between the pasture and the plate—showing that Wagyu isn’t mysterious, exclusive, or disconnected from the cattle industry. It’s simply beef, raised with intention.
See You on Wagyu Row
If you’re attending CattleCon, come find us on Wagyu Row. Ask questions. Taste the beef. Talk genetics. Talk cooking. Talk cattle.
We’re proud to be there representing Wagyu beef, the ranchers behind it, and the growing community that wants to understand beef better.
Stay meat curious.
